A visit to Dharamshala is incomplete without visiting its monasteries, which are known for their unearthly serenity. The Namgyal Monastery here is a peaceful place where one can spend time with self away from all the chaos. Established by the 3rd Dalai Lama in 1575, this monastery is home to around 200 Tibetan monks who stay busy chanting all day long.
