Pilgrims need to take a trek to the top of the Bilwa Parvat on the Sivalik Hills to reach this ancient temple. Chandi Devi Temple is another temple close to the Mansa Devi Temple attracting devotees with its serene ambience and holy vibes. This temple was raised in the year 1929 and is also known as Neel Parvat Teerth. Travelers can either take a trek to reach this temple or take a ropeway ride which offers beautiful bird’s eye views. Bharat Mata Temple is another famous temple in the city of Haridwar. The temple does not house any holy idols but has 8 stories, each displaying various themes and legends and deities.
For a shopping spree, Bara Bazaar is a great place in the city. The market remains flooded with locals and travelers indulging in a great shopping experience. The market sells everything from idols of gods and goddess to handicrafts and traditional attires.
Wildlife lovers must check out the Chilla Wildlife Sanctuary in Haridwar. The wildlife hub houses over 23 species of mammals and 315 fauna species. This is a great place to spend some moments in peace.
